My dearest Ms Easterman,
The Victorian Social Season Club and Miss Callipygian Christensen are working on a Vernisage for the 13th of November. Is an exhibition private opening on the most Victorian way, and there will be some canapes and champagne offered.
As we could be in need of help that day, I've taken the liberty to contact you. My maid, Nelly, will be there offering some drinks, but it wouldn't be enough. We are thinking about having a footman meeting the guests at the door, showing them inside and handing the program for the event.
Is there any chance you would have on your Maid's School a young man ready to be hired as a footman for the night?
Maybe we could even be in need of another maid, but that is still something we need to think about. But the footman is totally necessary for an event as the one described.
